Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional to provide on-ground support for our Point of Sale (POS) systems. This role involves direct interaction with clients, overseeing POS deployment, conducting on-site training, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of POS hardware and software at customer locations. The candidate will also serve as a liaison between the sales team and clients, driving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end POS system deployment and provide hands-on training to users
  • Help troubleshoot problems with the software, customer accounts and other related issues
  • Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns
  • Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions
  • Collaborates with programmers to explain errors and/or recommend modifications in programs
  • Work with Sales team to create and implement targeted sales strategies
  • Provide customer service by staying connected with the customers
  • Identify where improvement is needed in sales practices and make suggestions for improvements
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in field sales (banking, telecom, FMCG, or fin-tech preferred)
  • Basic understanding of digital payments / POS systems (preferred)
  • Exceptional communicator with strong customer service and problem‑ solving skills
  • Proficient in both hardware and software systems
  • Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory and visit customers on a recurring basis
  • Candidates must have their own two-wheeler and a valid driving license (mandatory)
